100% Book a trip with Captain Nick with confidence. He’ll put you on the fish! I’ve been out with him many times and nobody knows the backwater like Nick. He’s taken me and my son through tight mangrove into secluded spots to catch snook, tarpon, redfish, jacks, mangrove snapper and goliath grouper. Beyond being great at staying on the fish, his boat is clean, well stocked with great gear and he has fresh lively bait every time! I only hire captains I can enjoy 4-8 hours with. Fishing with Captain Nick is easy. It’s like fishing with a friend. He checks in to make sure I’m good in the heat and makes sure I’m staying hydrated between the chaos of reeling them in left and right. You haven’t booked yet? Stop reading and go book it! We had an incredible 4.5-hour afternoon charter with Captain Nick and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I took my two sons, Liam and Luke, and from start to finish, Nick made it a memorable day for all of us. We caught a wide variety of fish—endless mangrove snapper, trout, snook and even a Goliath grouper that gave us a serious workout! Captain Nick has lived in the area his whole life and clearly knows the waters inside and out. He was fantastic with the boys—patient, encouraging, and quick to help whenever needed. He kept us on fish the entire trip. Nick also cleaned our catch to perfection, and we enjoyed every bite for dinner that night. What stood out most was Nick’s engagement and professionalism. He worked hard the entire time, shared tips on technique and water conditions, and made sure we were always baited and ready. It’s clear he genuinely cares about making each trip special. This was our first outing with Captain Nick, and it definitely won’t be our last. We can’t wait to come back next fall. Highest recommendation! —Mike, Liam & Luke

We had such a great experience fishing with Captain Nick! He has lived in the area his entire life and is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and knows exactly where to take you to catch many different species of fish. My husband and I took our two boys, ages 8 and 11, and Nick was so great with them. He is very patient and helped them whenever they needed it. He worked hard the entire trip to make sure everyone had a great experience and we definitely did! We all caught so many fish, saw several dolphins, and Nick even pointed out a manatee that was near our boat. The highlight of our day was when our 8 year old caught a 33 inch Snook and was able to reel it in himself…a memory that he will likely remember forever. We will definitely schedule another trip with Nick next time we are in the area! Thanks again, Nick!

We booked a 1/2 day with Nick out on the water and really enjoyed our experience. He was knowledgeable, had many “hot spots” and friendly. Had a great day with him and would recommend to any friends or family. Keep up the great work Nick!

We had a great day with Captain Nick Fishing, the Backwater’s near Marco Island. Captain was punctual, well prepared, very knowledgeable of the backwater’s, and did a great job putting us on the fish. Thanks, Captain we will definitely be back.
